Hoysala architecture at Somanathpur Temple photos

On Saturday I traveled to Somanathpur to see the temple built in the Hoysala style. It is about 30 kilometers from Mysore. You can travel by jeep or local bus. The temple was built in the 1200s. It is not large but the carvings are very detailed and well-preserved.
