I am staying at the Ajanthi Hotel in Bangalore. It is a little more expensive than I would like. I am in the MG Road area. It is in the center of the city and is where all the restaurants and name-brand retail outlets are. There are a lot of people in dress shirts and slacks - presumably information technology (IT) workers on a break. So the city is fitting its reputation. On the plane from Delhi as well there were a lot of business people. I see a handful of Western faces; I think most are tourists and some may be here for business.
